ahh, new york was so much fun!!
things have been going well lately. the album is in the process of getting mixed which i’m very excited about! tom biller has been picked as the man for the job and i think he’s going to make it great :)

something in a big huge building with a lot of loud music and a lot of crazy people. it looked really awesome (i believe this was in part thanks to mama g), but flashing lights and blasting music until the wee hours of the morning with nowhere to escape to wasn’t really my scene.

When you cover songs for the Bla(h)g, do you memorize all of the lyrics and chords?
yes i do… that’s why it takes me so long. sooo many takes are so close and then i forget the last word.. or last chord. it makes things harder, but i feel like unless i really know a song, i really can’t put in the emotion it deserves.

Gidget an I sooooo enjoyed the show at hiro ballroom. The 7 hour drive and the hour wait after the show in the drizzle to get a chance to talk with you was well worth it. Getting to hang out with the street teamers in person was a treat too. I only wish we could have made it to the sat. meet up.:( You have such fun and talented fans! Ahhhhhhh that video was AMAZING! I feel like I was there in spirit, haha. So many amazing people in one place at one time…. unreal! I am so happy for you all. I am still sad I have never met Emi! But one day, I am sure.

btw, your video editing skills have gotten so good. this may be your best one yet. maybe just fade the song out at the end; or perhaps, cut it at the end of the line (after “handshakes”). the abrupt stop leaves me wanting more…which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because i end up playing it over again =)
