heya kina, i nvr usually post on blogs or do anythin like that but last week was probably the worst week of my life, i got a scan sayin i wont be able to play my sport ever again or have any chance of going to the olympics. and if i do il need surgery when im 25-26 and im only 22 ,so am extremely down… i really like acoustic music and was just searching on youtube and found you. your guitar playing is awesome, but your voice, you could sing the front page of a newspaper article and make me listen. i think what you have achieved is incredible but im sure you hear that everyday. i just had to write to you because listening to your music, helped me make one of the biggest decisions of my life and i may never want to remember that time again but ill always remember that song… ;] i just wanted to say thanks for makin life just that little bit easier

SO I realize. I never commented on last weeks. Any you would think being on Spring break last week I would of had time. but I didn’t and when i was on I forgot. Non the less I did watch it, and I liked it very much.

I seriously felt like I was missing out last week not getting to read any of the comments. But now that I am back at school I have a lot more time for reading your blog and the comments….yeah that doesn’t seem right…lol…but I do. Seriously. College is so over rated.

i feel like i’ve been away for forever. busy busy week with my brother’s wedding and stuff and yesterday was the cubs home/season opener. i tend to lose my head when it comes to baseball. we lost (4-3 brewers) but we have a new japanese right fielder (kosuke fukudome) who throws right and bats left (cool, huh?) and totally rockstar-ed the game. he hit a 3 run homer to tie it up in the 8th in his mlb/cubs debut. i love him now, he’s my hero hahaha. his last name is awesome and i want his jersey.
so great rendition! i totally was doing the round thing with the video the first time around hahaha.

yeah i saw that movie and it took me twice to really feel it and eventually love it hahaha. i’ve been told to see august rush on multiple occasions; not to confuse the actual act of watching it on multiple occasions but being told by several people to watch it on different days throughout a month haha. there was probably an easier way to say that.

“all you need is love” is definitely up there. i love the feels of “being for the benefit of mr. kite” and “yellow submarine.” “come together” always makes me feel like a bad @$$ hahaha and “all my loving” is just fun and so simple.
my head’s about to explode, i’ve realized it’s impossible to answer that question AAHHH hahahha

If you’re going to cover The Beatles (my ge-ge-generation) I request you do a cover of “Rocky Racoon,” from the White Album. I haven’t heard a cover ever done on that McCartney-Lennon song.

I thought of a great Beatle song you could cover, acappella, with emi and your other sister (whose name escapes me for the moment). it is a beautiful melody in vocal harmony. It’s BECAUSE… It’s originally from Abbey Road, but on the Beatles Anthology II or III, they released a pure harmony of the vocals only. Man, you can go tripping on that cut… (without drugs).

Hi all,
I loved the show. Kina sang beautifully and did a long set with her new guitar and two new songs performed for the first time. Emi accompanied her on two pieces and the effect was great. Ernie was there taking pictures that he will link to the blog sometime today.
Wish everyone could have been there. I feel lucky that I was. What a great night.
