AH MAN…. my browser was still on the previous post and I didn’t see this new one. I would have definitely listened in this morning.

Or just walked over to say ‘hi’ again…. KSCR is only a few hundred feet away from where I work on campus… I’m bummed.

Ah well, at least we got to see you Wednesday. And I can listen to the podcast of today’s show.

Ok, just got done listening… that was GREAT… ;-) That “Finding the words…” comment… I’ve heard that before, somewhere.

    @Kina
Even when you mess-up by playing in the wrong key, you’re better than most… so don’t sweat it. Guaranteed, most of us are just enjoying it anyhow.

Friday was my birthday, so it was very nice to hear Kina over the air playing live. I’ve still only seen her once only. Sadness.

Kina, oovret’s subscribers would like to thank you.

    oovret: week 2

What type of plectrum do you use?
What is the best place in LA for pupusas?
What is the largest venue in which you have performed?
Can I have the tabs to your songs?
What is the most played song on your iPod?

    Correction:
Please ignore question four, it has been asked multiple times.

I remember seeing a Dunlop Tortex pick at one of her gigs a while back, but it could have been someone else’s

i’m gonna hop on the oovret train :]

      1) kina, what ARE the many uses of pennies?
      2) and… this isn’t that random but my uneducated-in-guitar-self was just wondering… why is it that sometimes when you’re playing a song [like in the part of the new song that you posted with the bleeding love video] you like slide down your left hand after playing a chord? do you know what i mean?

      :]

I’m going to follow suit here…

Not sure if this is a fair question or not, but of all the guitars you’ve played, do you have one that you slightly favor more than the rest (i.e. takamine, koa, stratocaster, fender, ect?)

      steph says:

i forgot!! another one i was thinking about the other day when i almost died because of the billions of gnats around me:

do any bugs/reptiles just gross you out?? or just plain annoy the heck out of you? because.. i mean you wanted to be an entomologist or a herpetologist but dont you find them annoying??

..as you can tell, i’m not into the whole bug/reptile thing. they scare me! haha :]

        rumin says:

huh? does this mean we can’t ask questions on the blah(g) anymore? or is this just for the tervoo question list?

        • oovret says:

You may ask as many questions to the bla(h)g as you like.
However, if you would like to use oovret, please use the preceding information.
Remember: oovret is for asking questions no one else cares about.
oovret is not associated with tervoo.
          Sorry for the confusion.

          • rumin says:

ahh ok thanks for the info! for a while there, I was a little confused…thought oovret was the cool kids’ way of referring to tervoo…thanks again. :)

okay, so I was traveling Friday and didn’t get a chance to listen live but after hearing it I feel bad for the interviewer. She is just not good at her job. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not sure I would do much better, but if I didn’t hopefully someone would tell me so. Really, the beginning is just said: “you realized you could use the guitar to accompany yourself…” wow!

/enough of criticizing someone’s shoes I have yet to be in (but might be one day)

Kina you did an amazing job, as usual!

your name is unique! just thought i’d let you know that. i feel bad that i didn’t see you during the super bowl. i must’ve been far too wasted by then. -PS my 2 cents: can you write something fast and upbeat? seems like a lot of your songs have the same tempo and melodic patterns :) hope to hear your song hitting the radio on the east coast some time.
