    wow 2nd comment!
    loved the crunchies

  3. TimR Says:

These videos are never boring Kina! Wish I could make it out to Starbucks, but instead I’ll just go to my local Starbucks and have a green tea in your honor.

    Good luck tomorrow!

  4. Yohan Says:

    Priceless as ever.

    Good luck!

Know what this means Kina? It means now he expects you to got out on a date with him. But don’t you do it homegirl!. If he was really cool he’d have sent that stuff anonymously, (so that every other guy could take credit for it. And oh how hilarious that’d be.) And besides, I understand the keyboard what with helping you make music but, you already have an I-Phone with a built-in I-Pod. The picks, strings, and capo were more useful than the Touch. I’d sell it on Ebay. Money is money. When you go to the bank and see your account statement and the number is higher, does that truly give you joy? The fulfillment you get in a letter or in person from someone you have truly touched, well that - that’s intangible. And goddamn you Kina. Lived in Northern California for so long and the second I leave the state you go and visit San Francisco again. That’s the second time kaygee. Thanks, universe. But ah, you’re not that great live anyway. With your awkwardness and out of tune guitar and pick droppings and racial slurs. There was no need to insult that Canadian! Eh, I’ll see you on tour in a year or two. And I’ll come bearing intangibles.

  6. blew Says:

^ that was a little bit cruel up there sir, I hope you are joking. Kina is the best performer I have ever seen live, she makes you feel as if you are her friend even though she has never seen you and probably won’t after the show, but still it’s the though that counts.

On a better note, that was another funny kina video. It must be cool getting all those free candies, don’t eat them all at once though, even though you’ll burn it all plus more off tomorrow. Good luck on your marathon and try not to die haha. I hope we get to see you running, that would be pretty neat, instead of seeing the calm and collected kina, we get to see her struggling and sweaty haha. Well good luck hope you have fun

  7. ravencolours Says:

Good luck on your marathon Kina! Those Tim Tams made me wan to just hop across the pond just so I could partake in those famous Tim Tam Slams, yum!

  8. SuGaCuBe Says:

Good Luck on the marathon Kina!

Side note — I think it’s great all the support you have provided the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with helping to raise money.

My father has a rare type of blood cancer as well so I know how important it is to create awareness and help out.

Thanks for being a great inspiration.

Excellently useful PO box goodies! And Cadbury chocolate bars are just excellent :-). Just as well the little shop on the corner is shut now so I can’t go and buy some! (I went to school with some of the Cadbury extended family so I have to say nice things about them :-)

Hope Starbucks was/is great (depending on timezone difference). Super good luck for the marathon - hope you have a wonderful and memorable day.

That was an excellent hangout session at Starbucks! So very happy to meet Kina and Emi and mom&dad G! I wish my mind wasn’t so blown so that I could remember more about the other people I was talking with. I get forgetful when I’m nervous.

Good luck with the race tomorrow Kina!

    *HUGS* to all.

Very nice to meet you today! Best of luck at the marathon tomorrow, amazing cause in a beautiful city. Hope to see you again soon.

  18. 18  Glenn Says:

@arch - yes, I was fortunate enough to find them!

Kina, you definitely need to come back to northern california, but that is a topic for another day (hint..hint). While I type this you are probably sleeping away to prepare for your big day tomorrow and when you read this I am sure you are filled with the gratifying accomplishment you deserve in finishing and triumphantly completing the race :-)

As you tend to your soreness don’t forget about us folks here. Go Kina!

  25. 25  FinnFan Says:

Hi Kina, I hope your marathon went well. I´m eager to hear your comments about it.

About your PO Box videos… When I watched your previous video, I was totally amazed by myself: there I was, a cynical no-nonsense type of guy, who´s rarely impressed by anything too much… and there I was watching someone open her mail for almost 20 minutes… and LOVING every second of it. It was priceless to see the expressions on your face when you opened your presents.

I´m telling this because I want you to know that you don´t have to make your videos shorter for our sake. If shorter videos are more convenient for you because of uploading time or for some other reason, then of course I understand. But I´m sure that if someone likes you enough to watch your PO Box videos, he/she doesn´t have any problems with their length. For me, they always end too soon.

  26. 26  wwar1ace Says:

Well, I see from your Twitter that you MADE it. All that training was a good thing, because apparently…
    .

(The Little Blue Engine, by Shel Silverstein)

The little blue engine looked up at the hill.
His light was weak, his whistle was shrill.
He was tired and small, and the hill was tall,
And his face blushed red as he softly said,
    “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.”
So he started up with a chug and a strain,
And he puffed and pulled with might and main.
And slowly he climbed, a foot at a time,
And his engine coughed as he whispered soft,
    “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.”

With a squeak and a creak and a toot and a sigh,
With an extra hope and an extra try,
He would not stop — now he neared the top —
And strong and proud he cried out loud,
    “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!”

He was almost there, when — CRASH! SMASH! BASH!
He slid down and mashed into engine hash
On the rocks below… which goes to show
If the track is tough and the hill is rough,
THINKING you can just ain’t enough!

It was so much fun meeting all of you this weekend!! (and for all you apple folks, we <3 you in a big way) Thank you so much!!!
Kina was a running MACHINE and we were so proud watching her accomplish her goal… she was channeling her inner samurai.

  31. 31  Anonymous Says:

Glad you made it Kina - hope it was fun. I guess you’ll be going down stairs backwards for a few days :-). Results aren’t up yet but it must be as hilly as they say since the 1st woman last year was 3:01 and the first man was 3:09.

Why do Apple choose to launch new Macbooks when I want one? I can’t find an Apple store in the south of England that has any in stock now :-(.

  33. 33  Kim H Says:

Oh I wish I had a magical power that would let me teleport to wherever I wanted to go!!! That would be super awesome because then I could have seen you in San Francisco! But alas I don’t have that power, and I do have a very very empty lonely bank account haha. Maybe sometime you’ll become superbly famous and wander up north? that would be lovely! I’ll have to wait for that day and pray that I’m still here when you show up!

anyway congrats on completing the run!!! after all the achey tiredness you probably feel so accomplished! I hope :D

BTW you have the best PO box videos (and videos in general) ever! It’s so much fun to watch them because it’s like getting to know you, since not all of us have the chance of doing it in person!
    boring + kina = impossible!!!

  34. 34  Mick Says:

Did you realize how much that little box matched your shirt?

Monday: Contract ended. No more job.

  38. 38  blew Says:

Whoa I just saw an animal walking in the video at around 3:17 in the back left of the video. Is it a cat Kina? If so what’s his/her name. He/she should be introduced like your snakes, I want to see what she.he looks like up close.

  39. 39  Dr G Says:

    @Alderin

I enjoyed meeting you, but I am sad to hear that the contract isn’t going to continue. At least it frees you up for back home. We all send our wishes for a speedy and very successful job hunt for a better one out here.
