hello from the studio!
… i’m afraid it is happening again. only this time… i don’t have an off studio day until sunday!! i’ll have to come up with something… goodness knows what will happen if i skip an entire week. most likely i’ll be fired. this week is particularly insane because we’re trying to finish all the vocals in addition to finishing up the tracks for their final evaluation… then i get a few days off to sit with the songs and mull them over before we make our final changes. ahh!!
but back to the point– ahh!! i’m sorry! again! and this time if i make an apology video it will seem so …. done. *sigh* hopefully i’ll find a moment during the week to put up something fun. thank you all for being so patient and lovely.
oof this feels so bad leaving you with nothing exciting. but i have to go play some sounds on the song i wrote in costa rica (figured i’d make you work for it…).

it’s always like that. we think of our hometowns as boring….why would anyone want to come here?? but i look around and smell the fresh air here and i’m pretty thankful to be here…just need more sun!!!

@confused newbie: watching snow fall would be awesome, but i don’t think i could ‘live’ in a place where it snows every winter. don’t mind driving to the mountains to see snow…. hehe, because then we can leave it all behind.

It’s not so bad. I guess it’s just what you’re used to and what you consider to be “home”. I’m in Vancouver. It pretty much snows every winter, but not heavy like some other places. Our snow is pretty tame/mild.
It’s really gorgeous to look at and it really doesn’t feel like Christmas Day unless it’s there.
@MikeJ: know what you mean. where i’m from, all you needed to ‘feel’ christmas was what we called “christmas air”. so yes, like you say, it’s what each of us considers home. & for me, that’s just the cooler air.
i bet snow on christmas day is awesome. one day, i will experience snow falling… until then, i’ll take your word for it!!!

Her strum hand however, goes quite quickly and I don’t think mine is that loose already, still need some work there. Will try this song later though, thanks :)
@g3mini: hope we get some snow too here, we used to be able to ice skate every winter, must’ve been at least 8 years now since we were able to. do hope for snow this xmas however, we had some already recently.

aha, I am reading reactions on the “say” video, and they are talking about harmonics and what type of tuning, the harmonics she explained once, I tried it, but will leave that for a bit till I’m better at all the rest :P
